Communication
Communication with team members was crucial when developing GnawBears. Garvit Kothari, another freelancer hired alongside myself, was more familiar with the Stellar cryptocurrency platform, while I was more familiar with the Minecraft interfaces. Our collaboration was key to bringing this project to prototype.

Garvit is based in India, meaning collaboration had to be done via Discord and GitHub due to differing time zones.

Lessons Learned

Establishing and adhering to a coding standards is critical
Due to the differences in timezones, I learned that making code easy to read reduces friction between team members and increases efficiency.
