I was able to develop a habit of writing clear and concise documentation – which was reviewed within meetings with less tech-savvy colleagues.
MongoDB
To synchronise data between Alef’s internal systems and the Minecraft server, I had to design a Java plugin which was able to interact with MongoDB from Minecraft.
Lessons Learned
Balancing Perspectives
I had lots of creative freedom within the project, which initially caused some healthy conflict within the team. I learned to be specific when implementing ideas, considering my own biases and realising the need to broaden my perspective to an Arabic audience.
